Zune was in expected shape, we had trouble getting our computer to accept it, but the customer service walked us through it. Would purchase this item again and would buy from this store again. Shipping was very on time and the customer service was very helpful and prompt.

Yes, it's better than iPod

I mainly got a Zune because I didn't want to pay for an iPod. Why? Personally, I can't stand iTunes. I am no giant fan of Apple either. Nor am I a fan of that senor wheel. Zune remedies all of this. Some things it doesn't do that great though... Pros: The Zune software feels exactly like Windows Media Player 11, all of the controls on the device are buttons, the large display helps for movie watching. The price is right too, since last I checked 8G iPods are running the same price as a 30G Zune. Finally, the wireless connectivity of the Zune works out great. The Social network is definitely an interesting feature that everyone with a Zune should at least try. It can also play podcasts. Cons: I didn't do it because I didn't feel I would need it, but since the price drop I would suggest the extra $50 for the extra 50G. It really is a great deal.The battery life is about 15-20 hours at half volume, not great but good. Also, from time to time the software can be a tad buggy when adding new songs. I recommend this product for every music listener. Cheaper than an iPod video, and all the same features.

I use this everyday!

I love my Zune. I use it everyday. I have a USB in my car and can carry hundreds of cds with me as they are all on my Zune! I am never without my music. Took me a ittle bit to figure everything out (as the instructions it came with were horrible.) But I have to say, it was fairly easy to figure out. I purchased a Zune for Dummies guide to assist me with additonal advanced features. I have the travel pack with the wall charger which is great for trips and vacations. I strongly suggest plugging it into the computer with the USB at least every so often to get the updates (to prevent any problems.) I take this on the plane with me. The screen is great. The quality of the music is great. Buy the upgraded ear buds! The ones that come with it are not very good. It was so much cheaper than the equivalent Ipod. It was a better buy. I have the Sync feature in my car and it is just awesome to be able to just say "Play Artist Whoever" and it plays! I have had my Zune over a year. The memory size is great!

zune review with updates

Ok this is a more updated review of the zune 30gig player. Now if you get the older model yes orginally it doesnt work with vista but there is an update so just get on the internet and download it at install and your good to go. Second the zune marketplace is always being improved. yes it may not be up to par with ipods but im sure at the rate they are going it will be. Now there are movies on the marketplace as well. I myself put my own movies on but to each his own. just look for zune movie conversion software and there you go. works great. i havent really had a problem with it myself. I would personally recommend the zune cause unlike the ipods they havent really had a problem with the things going down. you know where it says send it to apple to fix it. only bad thing i will say it does take me a while to put a movie on the zune but besides that i love it. its my baby.

LUV MY ZUNE

I am older (61 yrs) and wanted an mp3 that I take on my walks with me. The screen is big and it was very easy for me to download my cds unto the Zune and very easy for me to select an album to play on my walks. I also have downloaded pictures of my grand kids so when I go out with my friends I can show them. That was also very easy to do. I also like the fact that you can re-charge the battery by plugging into an electrial outlet or car outlet (like a cell phone).
