iPod Touch is not for me
First of all, I'm a very happy user of the iPod Nano (2nd gen). Note: I tried to put zero stars but it appears the minimum is 1 star. My main reason for buying the Touch was to be able to download, surf, check e-mail, etc. without having to bring a computer with me. Turns out the Touch requires much more than I bargained for. First of all, Apple documentation is miserable. Apple won't even let you turn the f%$#(*% thing on without connecting to iTunes. Great, get a new product and you can't even use it, not even to surf the web or do e-mail. Once I find and download the manual, I see that I need iTunes 7.6. Well, I try to update in iTunes but can't, no idea why. So I go the "manual" route. I download 7.6 and try to install it, only to find that I need Vista or XP. Where was that ever mentioned? I also need to add an iTunes account, which I never needed before. I don't know what to do at this point. I don't know if I'll ever buy another Apple product again. This is a user-friendly device???Love it!
I have never had the desire to own an iPod until the Touch came out. I loved the technology on the device, but at first the storage capacity was to small. Once the 32 gig came out I jumped on it. I have really been enjoying the iPod Touch and have filled it with an assortment of music and different tv shows, and movies. I have even been able to put on some of my old student films back from college. The best thing is, I haven't maxed out the space yet. My only complaint is with the Wi-Fi, but this does not reflect Apple in any way. It seems that many places require a payment to utilize their Wi-Fi service, whether that is a subscription fee or a one time use fee while you are there at the store. This just means that I do not utilize the Wi-Fi feature as much as I thought I would, but when I do it works nicely. All in all, it is a great product that does what I need it to do the most: Play music and videos. Not worth it
I've had this phone for a few months now and I'm so not impressed. To pay this much for a phone and then not be able to send a picture message is crazy!! I didnt return it because the guys at the apple store assured me that apple listens and trys to correct things that the consumer wants, and that in june there would be an update that most likely would include sending pictures. Well on the apple site nowhere does it mention anything about picture text in the new update. This phone has other cool things but seriously I just want to send and receive picture text messages not emails. Why pay so much for this phone when you could get a cheaper one that does the same if not more?iPod Heaven
I'm very pleased with my 16GB iPod Touch. Being able to download music, movies and audiobooks while on the go is a great feature, thanks to Apple's common sense approach to technology.wipes the music from your PC
I had the traditional iPod before. Now I have the i-touch. I hooked it up to my PC (I know it's not a good idea to have a PC, but presumably the i-touch can handle it). Syncing starts and I lose all my music I have on my computer. Annoying. Does Apple really think I bought the i-touch to delete the content on my computer. Presumably I need to change my settings. Nowhere on the hardware or software does it tell you where or how to change the settings to prevent this big disaster. The i-touch also can handle pictures. So I dare not hook it up anymore to my computer because I worry it will delete all my pictures next. I have to throw it out and forget about it rather than let it aggravate me. Buy at your own risk. Be careful.Keyword : ipod+touch
